Try our products for a fortnight. If you feel they do not live up to our claims, you can return them for a refund.
- We use only pure plant extracts with proven therapeutic benefits. Our ingredients are carefully chosen to suit individual skin-types. The purity of our high-grade organic ingredients deliver the high performance of our products.
- We make facial creams not balms. Creams work to hydrate the skin and drive moisture into the epidermis. Facial balms form a barrier on the skin, locking in existing moisture, but also suffocating the skin and blocking pores.
- Most natural companies do not formulate their own creams. They outsource both formulation and manufacture to a factory.
The result is a lot of identikit products from lots of brands that don't deliver on their promise. That's because you need to select quality ingredients that not only provide skin benefits, but work in perfect unison. It took us five years of extensive research, trial and error to get our formulations right - no commercial contract factory would devote that amount of time to product development.
- We never stop innovating. At Pai our dedicated research team is constantly trying new ingredients and formulations - both for new products but also to improve and refine our existing ones.
Sensitive Skin Guarantee
All Pai products are formulated for sensitive and allergy-prone skin.
We understand how difficult it is to find products that work with difficult skin or specific allergies such as Eczema, Rosacea, Urticaria and Psoriasis.
You will probably have wasted a lot of money in the past on full size products that your skin can't tolerate.
Everyone's skin is different so while we can never guarantee that our products won't cause irritation, we will say that they are unlikely to. You can return them for a full refund if you don't get on with them.
No "Necessary Evils"
Too many "natural" companies justify the inclusion of harsh chemicals in their products by saying it is necessary, and they would remove them if they could. Worse, they hide their presence with unfamiliar and misleading names or false natural provenance.
Pai is different - we are the only leading natural brand not to compromise the integrity of our products for a few months of extra shelf life.
Some leading examples include:
- Formaldehyde - many leading natural companies use Sodium hydroxymethylglycinate, which breaks down into formaldehyde in the product. This chemical is a bad skin irritant.
- Parabens - whatever your opinion on the paraben controversy, we believe it's misleading to make paraben-free claims while using one derived from the innocuous sounding "Japanese Honeysuckle".
- Phenoxyethanol - this preservative is a known skin irritant and is about to be disallowed for use in certified organic cosmetics in the UK and EU.
- Alcohol - used in high enough concentrations, alcohol works as a cosmetic preservative. Many natural brands use it but claim that while regular alcohol might be bad for sensitive skin, their alcohol is different because it comes from grain or grapes. These "ethyl" alcohols are still irritating and drying on the skin, regardless of where they come from.
Organic Skin Care
 There is currently no labelling regulation controlling the terms ‘natural’ and ‘organic’ in beauty products.
A lot of companies use these words on their packaging to cash in on the interest in natural cosmetics, but their products rarely stand up to scrutiny.
Always read the label and look out for an organic kitemark, such as the Soil Association logo. |
