We chose Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate instead: a natural, oil-soluble form that releases gradually and stays steady from your first pump to your last. Combined with omega-rich Bilberry extract (rescued from the juice industry), it soothes inflammation while reinforcing your skin barrier.

Can I use C-2 Believe alongside retinol or other active ingredients?

C-2 Believe uses a non-acidic, oil-soluble form of Vitamin C, so it doesn't carry the same irritation risks as pairing L-ascorbic acid with other actives. It layers well with most skincare ingredients. If you're using retinol, a common approach is Vitamin C in the morning for antioxidant protection and retinol in the evening, though always introduce new actives gradually and monitor how your skin responds.

Will C-2 Believe help with hyperpigmentation and dark spots?

It tackles pigmentation through two complementary mechanisms. The corn-derived Vitamin C (ATIP) inhibits tyrosinase, the enzyme that drives melanin production, to slow new pigmentation forming. Meanwhile, research by Ando et al. showed that the linoleic and alpha-linolenic acids in Bilberry Seed Oil lighten UV-induced hyperpigmentation by both suppressing melanin synthesis and accelerating the shedding of already-pigmented cells. Yes, it's non-comedogenic, so it won't clog pores.
