The latest skin super food – why you should eat Watercress everyday

In our constant quest to keep up with the latest skin super foods we came across a great article in this month’s Good Housekeeping magazine worth sharing with you all.

According to GHK – the one food we should all be eating to guarantee a smooth complexion is watercress.

A new study has shown that eating 80g of watercress a day can improve the appearance of a whole host of skin concerns, including wrinkles, texture, pores, sun spots and redness.

The secret lies in watercress’s high concentration of vitamin C and beta-carotene – which, says Dr Sarah Schenker, a nutritionist and the overseer of the study, ‘cannot only help to slow down the ageing of our skin, but may actually reverse some of the effects of damage’.
