Effective for removing makeup but a bit too heavy for my skin
"TLDR: great texture and smell, but a bit too heavy for everyday use, even during peak dry winter months. I'm 41, female and have clear but very dry skin in the winter (dry-normalish in the summer). I use a mild cleanser followed by face oil in the winter (swap to a lighter cream in the summer). I don't use retinols or strong anti-aging treatments. My makeup routine is minimal--a tinted sunscreen from Ilia, undereye concealer from Tarte and the occasional swipe of drugstore eyeliner. I love Pai's face oil and wanted to try out the cleansing oil to see if it helped manage my winter dryness. The first 3-4 days went really well but on the 5th day I noticed a few irritated pores on my forehead and temple area. By day 10 I had a few full on pimples. I began alternating days between my old cleanser (Youth to the People's original green formula) and Pai's cleansing oil. This seems to be the right balance, so I'll probably keep it as part of my winter routine but don't see it as a daily option for me."
