Sensitive skin and SPF have not always got along. In fact 50% of Pai customers* have reacted negatively to an SPF. That’s because suncream is designed to stay put to maximise protection – which can lead to blocked pores, sensitivity and irritation. Going without sunscreen isn’t a safe option either. Burning, premature ageing, a higher risk of skin cancer? That’s a hard no from us. Our customers need a daily SPF they can trust, and that even the most sensitive skin can tolerate.
Our organic sun cream is powered by natural Zinc Oxide – which offers broad spectrum protection without leaving a white cast. Cotton Extract helps skin recover from the damage caused by UVB, UVA, infra-red and visible radiation.

Zinc
Acting as a physical shield, this all-natural mineral filter protects against UVA and UVB light. We use non-nano Zinc Oxide in our sunscreen which means the particles aren't small enough to be absorbed or to interfere with ocean life.
Cotton Extract
Rich in Vitamin E, antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids, this hardworking active helps protect skin from photo-ageing and damage caused by the sun's harmful rays.

"Excellent product — smells divine. A pleasure to use. Need to reapply. And need to make sure you cleanse properly. I’m spot prone but if I double cleanse I don’t have any issues with it. I also find it’s brilliant at taking down some redness I have in my face — I don’t wear foundation but this does the trick for me."

"No burns but my face feels really dry when I use this sunscreen! I don’t have sensitive skin. I think I am dry-to-combo skin but it’s really seasonal/environmental. I am in South Africa right now and it’s pretty dry here. I think this might be fine in a more humid environment. My partner doesn’t find it drying, but I most likely won’t repurchase. "I have tried this sunscreen extensively but I can’t understand why it seems to not protect my skin very well. When I bought it for the first time I went for a beach holiday to Italy and my face quickly developed pigmentation. I gave this product a second chance a year later (bought new one) when going on another sunny holiday place and again got so much dark pigmentation. I love the texture and feel because it is not thick and greasy but the SPF factor doesn’t really do much for me. I’m back to using another organic but greasy sunscreen and no pigmentation! I wish this was giving me the same results."

"This mini-size summer cream was the perfect product to take with me while traveling during the holidays. Just one pump dispenses plenty of product, and the texture is the ideal balance between a face cream and a sunscreen. For next summer, I would love it to have a stronger SPF (around 50) for even better protection."
"I love Pai's product because they are great for my skin. I have Perioral Dermatitis which also means sensitive and unpredictable skin. I mostly have issues during the winter time, but some sunscreens also makes my skin react and therefore, I wanted to try this sunscreen. Unfortunately my skin is not happy with this one - but I think that it is a great sunscreen for most. The lower rating is only due to the fact that I can't use it for my skin, but it's not a bad product at all."

"Lovely lightweight SPF to layer over The Anthemis moisturiser. Not greasy and leaves a subtle sheen . Works well as a primer when used under powder mineral foundation. Unobtrusive scent and hasn’t caused any blemishes. Only used on my face and neck so can’t comment on efficacy when used on the body but very pleased anyway and will carry on using."
