Directions

Massage two fingertip sized amounts into skin each morning after moisturising, but before make-up. It's fast-absorbing and non-greasy so you won't need to wait around for long. You can skip your primer too, it’s built in. Apply your sunscreen 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapply throughout the day as needed.

What shade of The Impossible Glow is used to make British Summer Time Glow?

We haven't used a particular shade from our Impossible Glow drops. We've used the Mica to add a luminous glow designed to suit all skin tones.

How do I choose between the original British Summer Time SPF and British Summer Time Glow?

It all depends on your preferred finish, and where you prefer to add glow in your routine! Our original mineral sunscreen offers broad spectrum protection with a non-greasy finish. British Summer Time Glow SPF30 is a hybrid product, giving you the same protection with instant radiance built in. It's also fragrance free.

Is it suitable for all skin tones?

Our formula uses natural pearlescent pigments to add luminosity – rather than a tint – to the skin, and has been designed as a universal glow for all skin tones.

It's made with Zinc Oxide, a mineral UV filter which can have a more visible white finish because of the way it sits on the skin to shield it from the sun. However, in independent trials, 86% agreed the shade works well with their skin tone*.

What gives British Summer Time Glow its luminosity?

We've used the Mica to add a luminous glow designed to suit all skin tones.

We use natural Mica sourced from a manufacturer that is a member of The Responsible Mica Initiative – a global coalition for action, committed to establishing a fair, responsible and sustainable Mica supply chain.

I have rosacea, will this SPF be suitable?

Yes! We use natural non-nano Zinc Oxide – a mineral sunscreen filter – which is better tolerated by sensitive and rosacea-prone skin than chemical filters. It acts as a physical shield against the sun's rays, without irritating hypersensitive skin.

I have acne-prone skin, will this SPF be suitable?

Yes. Our British Summer Time Glow is a non-greasy formula, suited to all skin types.

Is it reef-safe?

Yes, we use Non-Nano Zinc Oxide, a mineral filter.

Is the SPF water resistant?

No. You will need to reapply our SPF after any exposure to water.
