Pai Mind Day 2021
For the past five years on 10th July, we have marked the birthday of Sarah's late friend Anna with Pai Mind Day - a day to promote mental health understanding and donate to a cause which is close to our hearts.
The past year has seen mental health issues skyrocketing at a time when health services are struggling. That’s why this year, we’re expanding Pai Mind Day to three days - 10-12 July - and donating 25% of profits split equally between three invaluable charity organisations: Mind, Black Minds Matter UK and The Loveland Foundation in the US.
Who our donations help
To date we have raised £34,000 and helped an estimated 700 people take their first step to speak to a professional about their mental health. It’s a small number, and we want to do much, much more.
All three organisations are working hard to support those struggling with their mental health, including those who are disproportionately affected by mental health issues - and they need our help more than ever.
How you can help
For any orders you place on our website between 10th and 12th July, we will donate 25% of profits split equally between our three partners - Mind, Black Minds Matter UK and The Loveland Foundation. Of course if you’re all stocked up or would prefer to donate directly, please do by visiting the charities’ websites - we know they would love your support.
A message from Sarah
Now in its fifth year, Pai Mind Day carries huge significance for Pai’s Founder. Here, Sarah explains why this year’s initiative is a little different, the shocking statistics behind the cause and why supporting mental health services is more important than ever.
